Managing Director - Corporate Banking

Responsibilities Business Development: Identify and pursue new opportunities within the Industrials, Transportation & Logistics sectors, including Tier One automotive. Build and maintain relationships with corporate and specialty clients, providing tailored banking solutions and collaborating with product specialists to achieve growth targets. Client Relationship Management: Serve as the primary contact for corporate & specialty clients, maintaining long‑term relationships, ensuring exceptional service, and addressing concerns to enhance customer satisfaction. Collaborate with Product Partners: Work with Capital Markets, Risk Management, Asset Based Lending, Treasury Management, and other partners to maximize returns. Financial Management: Monitor revenue, profitability, and cost management for the division; develop strategies to maximize profitability and reduce risk. Risk Management: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies. Implement risk controls to safeguard the bank’s assets. Product Development: Partner with the product development team to create banking products and services that meet the needs of corporate, specialty, and government clients. Market Intelligence: Stay informed about market conditions and industry trends, using insights to identify growth opportunities and assess risks. Provide regular updates to senior management and peers. Collaboration Across Departments: Coordinate with credit, operations, compliance, and marketing to deliver seamless banking services and optimize operational efficiency. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree required. 7+ years of business development experience in banking with a focus on building meaningful client relationships. 5+ years of industrial‑specific experience in a client‑focused sales role, particularly in General Industrials, Transportation & Logistics, or Tier One Automotive. Series 79 and 63 (or equivalent) required or obtainable within 120 days of start date. Preferred: MBA; deep industry expertise with a track record of managing relationships with companies exceeding $500MM; 7+ years of industrial‑specific sales experience. Benefits and Compensation Compensation range: $125,000.00 – $255,000.00 (annual base salary).
