Revenue Accountant

Position Overview As a Revenue Accountant within the global finance team, you will play a key part in ensuring accurate revenue recognition and financial integrity, directly influencing the success of our global operations. You will bring order to complexity, simplify processes, and support the company’s mission of nourishing people. Responsibilities Contribute to the financial integrity of the company's revenues, deferred revenue, accounts receivables, and unbilled revenue. Apply ASC 606 and company policies to determine proper revenue recognition for SaaS subscription, professional services, partner revenue share, and usage‑based models. Collaborate with Legal, Partner Management, and Revenue Operations to clarify contractual language and ensure compliance. Review incoming revenue reports received from partners and assess for reasonableness. Maintain accurate records of partner revenue share calculations and allocations in NetSuite. Assist in monthly financial close activities, including reconciliations and analysis. Perform internal audit on revenue arrangements. Assist in implementing tools or workflows for better contract and revenue management. Prepare detailed reports for internal stakeholders and partners on revenue performance using Salesforce. Support audits and provide documentation as needed. Qualifications A Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Accounting. 2-5+ years of professional accounting experience in revenue recognition, preferably in a technology company. Familiarity with revenue recognition requirements under US GAAP. Strong understanding of invoicing processes. Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite Applications with advanced knowledge of Excel. Exceptional analytical skills with strong attention to detail. Ability to work independently and in a team‑oriented environment. Preferred NetSuite ERP & Zone Advanced Billing experience. Familiarity with multi‑currency, multi‑subsidiary accounting systems. Prior audit experience. Compensation Overall US annual base salary range for this position is $90,000 – $115,000 per year. Benefits Flexible work hours and flexible time‑off policy.
