Facility Maintenance Part Time Lyons, CO, US 15 days ago Requisition ID: 6293 Salary Range: $24.00 To $26.00 Hourly Wedgewood Weddings is looking for a dependable, hands-on Venue Maintenance Technician to help keep our beautiful wedding venues looking their best. This role focuses on the day-to-day maintenance, repairs, and upkeep of our buildings and grounds to ensure every event is safe, clean, and guest-ready. Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance and general repairs throughout the venue. Complete basic repairs including painting, drywall patching, light plumbing, carpentry, and minor electrical work. Keep buildings, outdoor spaces, and common areas clean, safe, and well maintained. Assist with seasonal landscaping, including watering, trimming, weeding, and general grounds maintenance. Perform snow removal and ice mitigation during winter weather. Remove trash and debris from the property as needed. Assemble furniture, fixtures, or equipment when needed. Identify maintenance issues and report repairs that require outside vendors or specialized work. Follow all safety procedures and help maintain a safe environment for guests and team members. Assist with other maintenance projects as assigned by venue leadership. What We're Looking For At least 1 year of general maintenance, handyman, construction, landscaping, or related experience. Basic knowledge of common maintenance tasks such as painting, drywall repair, plumbing, carpentry, or electrical repairs. Comfortable using hand and power tools safely. Self-motivated with strong attention to detail. Able to prioritize tasks and work independently while also supporting the venue team. Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions. Able to lift up to 75 pounds and stand, bend, climb, and walk for extended periods.
