We are seeking a detail-oriented, organized, and dependable Inpatient Specialist to join our Health Information Management team in La Junta. Located just east of the Rocky Mountains, AVRMC proudly serves Southeastern Colorado with high-quality healthcare close to home. Position Summary As an Inpatient Specialist, you will be responsible for abstracting, coding, and maintaining patient health information for inpatient, outpatient, and Emergency Department visits. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of patient records, supporting continuity of care, regulatory requirements, reporting, and reimbursement processes. This is a Full-Time position within our Medical Records Department.
