divh2Cashier/Food Service Worker/h2pIAP World Services, an Intrepid Global Solutions company, is a recognized leader in Facilities Management and Operations in support of Defense, Intelligence, and National Security missions./ppUnder a major Intelligence Community contract, IAP provides facility services including operations, maintenance, engineering, logistics, construction, grounds, custodial, environmental, safety, safety, access control, events, and food services./ppIAP is seeking a Cashier/Food Service Worker who works primarily in the foodservice operation, handling cash and credit transactions from its customers. In addition, they will assist in setup and serving of food from counters. Duties will include cleaning and sanitizing equipment and workstations. As a cashier, you must operate the cash register/POS and complete the transactions accurately./ppGeneral Responsibilities:/pulliOperates a cash register (or equivalent), receives payments of cash, checks and charges from customers or employees for goods or services, making change and issuing receipts or tickets to customers./liliMaintains proper security of cash at all times. Understands and follows IAP cash-handling policies and procedures./liliMay assist in locating, reconciling and verifying the accuracy of transactions and operate peripheral equipment that records and supports non-cash transactions./liliMay also be required to prepare for service before the meal and clean the dining room after the meal (wiping tables, vacuuming the floor, cleaning chairs, ensuring the acceptable appearance of the dining area)./liliMay set up and stock the beverage area, grab and go items, service ware and condiments or other assigned areas./liliCleans and sanitizes workstations, counters, steam tables and other equipment./liliBrews coffee and tea. May be required to restock other beverage areas.
