Medical Surgical RN

Shifts available:

• Fulltime Days 7:00am - 7:00pm
• Fulltime Nights 7:00pm - 7:00 am

Position Summary/Responsibilities:

• The Med Surg RN will organize, modify, evaluate, document, and maintain the plan of care for unit patients.
• Plan, implement, revise, and delegate nursing care
• Perform necessary technical skills as delineated through education, expertise, and unit requirements
• Incorporate teaching into all aspects of nursing practice
• Fast-paced 23-bed acute medical/surgical unit. You will provide care to a diverse adult patient population, including ortho, diabetic, bowel, NG tubes, wounds, and simple surgeries.

Qualifications:

• BSN Required
• Texas RN license or compact license is accepted
• Current BLS issued by the American Heart Association or client required
• Must have at least one (1) year of Recent Med-Surg RN experience in an acute care hospital
