Senior Systems Analyst and Project Coordinator

Job Summary: The Senior Systems Analyst and Project Coordinator is responsible for managing the full project life cycle of IT initiatives, including requirements gathering, scheduling, coordination, and status reporting. This role involves analyzing support systems, coordinating with stakeholders, leading meetings, and ensuring project documentation is maintained accurately. The position requires strong collaboration with business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure successful project delivery. Responsibilities: Create project charters and schedules covering the entire project life cycle from requirements gathering to final acceptance testing. Analyze library support systems and categorize ongoing operations, maintenance, and development tasks regularly. Participate in estimating implementation efforts for project requirements as needed. Provide frequent project status updates to relevant divisions on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis. Coordinate projects using USDA GitHub repositories and maintain up-to-date GitHub issues. Lead scrum meetings and project meetings as required. Coordinate requirements gathering, manage project scope, track deliverables, and secure task signoffs from stakeholders. Inform IT project managers and stakeholders about schedule changes, delays, or issues affecting project scope. Perform work as described in the Performance Work Statement (PWS). Required Skills & Certifications: 4-5 years of experience working with business stakeholders and business analysts/technical architects on IT project planning and analysis. 4-5 years of experience maintaining project documentation in SharePoint or GitHub. Preferred Skills & Certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP) certification. Special Considerations: Must be able to coordinate and communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders and technical teams.
