At CHS, we are creating connections to empower agriculture. Summary CHS is looking for a Hazmat Truck Driver to join our team. This individual would be responsible for hauling fuel to our customers in a safe and timely fashion. This is a M-F home daily role with Saturday work as needed during spring and fall busy seasons. The ideal candidate would have their Class A CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements and 2+ years of tractor trailer experience. This position is eligible for a $5,000 sign on bonus as well as driver safety bonuses (up to $6,000 per year). Join our team today! Responsibilities * Operate a semi-tractor and tanker trailer to deliver hazardous energy-grade materials to customer sites in a safe, compliant manner.

* Comply with DOT regulations and company policies for safe driving, including route and hazard awareness. * Load and unload products by connecting/disconnecting loading arms and hoses; follow all hazardous material handling and transfer safety procedures.

* Deliver professional, customer-focused service during pickups and deliveries, coordinate with customers and internal teams.

* Prepare delivery documentation and daily load/unload reports; record accurate electronic logs.

* Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections; submit maintenance reports and escalate repair needs and equipment issues promptly.

* Immediately notify leadership of incidents, near misses, spills/releases, or safety concerns; execute required response and reporting procedures.

* Support related tasks such as equipment hookups, site readiness checks, and assigned duties Minimum Qualifications (required) * Valid Class A or Class B CDL (as required for the equipment/route)

* Valid Hazmat and Tanker endorsements required

* 2+ years of verifiable CDL driving experience

* Must meet age requirement

* Ability to read, write, and communicate in English

* Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety and compliance, and complete required documentation accurately. Additional Qualifications * Demonstrated experience hauling hazardous materials

* Demonstrated safety performance and consistent adherence to procedures in hazardous materials operations.

* Demonstrated customer service and communication skills; interact professionally with internal teams and customers.

* Demonstrated experience completing tanker product transfers (loading/unloading) and related documentation in a regulated environment.

Physical Requirements * Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds

* Ability to safely climb in and out of truck cabs and to the top of a tanker trailer

* Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions; travel and time away from home as required by the schedule

* Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and in environments with regular exposure to hazardous materials. CHS offers a competitive total rewards package. Actual pay offered will vary based on multiple factors which may include, without limitation, experience, education, training, specialized skills and certifications, minimum wage/salary requirements under local law.
