Job Description
Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse specializing in Labor and Delivery to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in providing exceptional care to patients during labor and delivery, along with robust knowledge in antepartum assignments and operating room procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and support labor and induction patients throughout their delivery process.
Serve in a circulating role in the obstetric operating room.
Provide care and assessments for antepartum patients.
Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Participate in continuous education to stay current with best practices in labor and delivery.

Shifts:

This position requires availability for night shifts, consisting of three 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.

Qualifications:

A minimum of 12 months of permanent experience in Labor and Delivery nursing is required.
MUST hold an active Ohio nursing license or a compact state license at the time of application.
Current certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), and STABLE must be in hand upon submission.
One reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the Labor and Delivery specialty is required for qualification.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with EPIC Stork electronic health record system is preferred but not required.

Assessment Requirements:

Candidates will be required to complete an ECG rhythm recognition test and Safe Medicate assessment during orientation, achieving acceptable scores on both assessments.
