People like you!Location: IKO Glass Fiber Inc., Chester, SC Department: Maintenance Type: Full Time (FT/PT/Cont)WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU?Competitive salaryCompetitive health and benefit planCompetitive matched retirement savings programThe opportunity to join a continuously growing organization with focus on Diversity and InclusionThe opportunity to work with an industry leader in manufacturingWHEN YOU JOIN US YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE TO:Inspect, maintain, and service mechanical systems, machinery, and equipment.Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance tasks to identify and address potential problems.Execute mechanical repairs and replacements, ensuring adherence to safety standards and regulations.Install, upgrade, or modify mechanical systems and equipment as needed.Keep comprehensive records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs.Maintain accurate records of mechanical maintenance tasks, including work orders and equipment manuals.Identify and diagnose mechanical problems using various tools and equipment.Determine the root cause of mechanical malfunctions and develop effective repair solutions.Interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics to locate and rectify issues.Collaborate with engineers and supervisors to implement improvements and enhancements.Strictly adhere to safety protocols, including lockout/tagout procedures, to prevent accidents and injuries.Ensure compliance with all applicable local, state, and national mechanical codes and regulations.Other duties as required.OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE:High School Diploma or equivalent: technical or vocational training in mechanical maintenance is preferred.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written, verbal and presentation), with the ability to effectively work with others in a team environment.Demonstrated initiative and the ability to handle complex assignments with a proactive attitude.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and safety protocolsProven experience as a Mechanical Maintenance technician or similar role.Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, components, and diagramsProficiency in using mechanical tools and diagnostic equipment.Willingness to work flexible hours and respond to emergency calls when necessary.WORK AUTHORIZATIONS AND TRAVEL:MINIMAL TRAVELI9 VERIFICATION REQUIREDBACKGROUND AND DRUG TEST REQUIREDIKO Industries Ltd. is an equal opportunity employer.
