Sanitation Technician

Job Overview Sanitation Technician – Ottumwa, IA. Prepares cleaning and sanitation chemicals, operates cleaning equipment on exterior surfaces, manually cleans equipment parts, aseptically collects samples to validate sanitation procedures, sweeps and washes floors, cleans drains, pumps, hoses, bottle and can warmers, maintains cleaning chemical storage area, and maintains sanitation records. Shift and Schedule 3rd Shift Sunday–Thursday; weekends as needed 10:00 pm to 6:30 am Must have flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as required by schedule. Position Responsibilities Maintain orderly and clean work area in compliance with KDP safety and sanitation requirements. Possess understanding of production equipment so it can be properly cleaned and operated. Use cleaning chemicals and safe handling practices. Restock and replenish supplies as appropriate. Perform general maintenance. Pay and Rewards Pay starting at $22.84 per hour.
