Join us and help shape the future of aerospace and defense.Collins Aerospace is looking for a Sr Principal Stress Engineer who will perform structural analysis in support of thermosets, thermoplastics, composites, metallic nacelles and aerostructure components using standard analysis methods and finite element approaches. You will conduct design trades and final product configuration definitions considering safety, strength, weight, cost & producibility for Military & Commercial applications. You will also generate and present reports suitable for transmittal to an airworthiness authority, internal/external customers (such as Boeing, Airbus, Embraer and Military). In addition, you will collaborate with both domestic and international engineering support teams on technical aspects of the stress analysis activities. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
