ICU Registered Nurse (RN)We are seeking a dedicated and skilled ICU Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team. This part-time position is scheduled to begin in November, with a requirement for floating to other ICU units if census levels decrease.Key ResponsibilitiesFloat to various ICU units as needed to maintain staffing levels.Provide high-quality patient care in a hospital/acute care setting.Adhere to scheduled shifts, including every other weekend.Submit time-off requests in advance, with a limit of 7 days.Make up all missed shifts and arrange coverage for any scheduled shifts during time off.Respond to on-call requirements promptly, returning to the facility within one hour when necessary.QualificationsMinimum of 2 years of recent, consecutive ICU experience in a hospital or acute care environment.Familiarity with medication scanning is required.Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications are mandatory.Staffing RatiosThe typical staffing ratio is 3 patients to 1 nurse, ensuring a focused and manageable environment for patient care.Shift DetailsNight shifts: 2 shifts of 12 hours each (19:00 - 07:00)Block scheduling is not available.This position requires a professional commitment to providing exceptional care and effective collaboration with a diverse healthcare team.
