CT Technologist (PER DIEM)This position requires flexibility to work evenings, days, or nights in 8-hour shifts, including 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM, and 7:00 PM to 3:30 AM.Job DescriptionThe CT Technologist works collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team and is responsible for providing quality imaging services. This role supports the Radiologist by assisting with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures and ensuring the processing and transmission of images to PACS are accurate and timely.ResponsibilitiesProvide quality CT images in accordance with standard protocols.Assist Radiologists during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.Process and transmit images to PACS.Ensure patient safety and compliance with quality control standards.Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team to deliver optimal patient care.Required Experience / Certifications / LicensureMust have a current and valid CT license.One year of acute, clinical radiology experience is preferred.Knowledge of mobile and stationary radiographic/fluoroscopic equipment is required.Extensive knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology is essential.Graduate of a program accredited by JRCERT.CT ARRT Certification is required as of 07/01/2015.Must maintain BCLS (AHA) certification upon hire.Proficient computer skills are necessary.
