Registered Nurse (RN) – Progressive Care Unit (PCU)

Louisville, Kentucky

Contract: 13 Weeks (Extensions Likely)

Pay: Competitive weekly package (discussed based on experience & tax setup)

Schedule: 3x12s | Days or Nights available

We’re seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (PCU) to join a leading healthcare facility in Louisville, KY . In this role, you’ll provide intermediate-level care to patients requiring close monitoring and specialized nursing intervention.

You’ll work alongside a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes for patients transitioning from intensive care to medical-surgical units.

• Deliver direct patient care in the PCU in accordance with nursing standards.

• Administer medications and monitor patient responses.

• Collaborate with physicians and care teams for patient plans.

• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately.

• Provide patient/family education and emotional support.

• Active RN license (KY or Compact).

• Minimum 1 year of PCU or Step-Down experience (recent).

• BLS and ACLS certifications required.

• Ability to adapt in fast-paced acute settings.

• Weekly direct deposit.

• Travel & local contracts available.
