About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Finance & Administration to lead a transformational agenda in the finance function. The successful candidate will be a dynamic finance leader capable of both architecting long-term financial strategy and ensuring the flawless execution of financial fundamentals. This role is pivotal in standardizing and rebuilding financial processes to be scalable, auditable, and automation-ready, particularly as the organization embraces AI and technology to streamline operations. The VP will also be responsible for multi-entity financial management, long-term financial strategy, and the day-to-day financial operations, including team development and maintaining a culture of continuous improvement. Candidates for the Vice President of Finance & Administration position at the company should be energized by change and have a proven track record of leading financial process redesign and standardization efforts. The role requires a hands-on approach to AI-assisted finance tools, automation platforms, and ERP modernization. Experience in nonprofit finance, including fund accounting and Form 990 reporting, is essential. The ideal candidate will have a strong command of GAAP, nonprofit accounting standards, and internal control best practices, and be adept at multi-year financial planning and forecasting. A Bachelor's degree in a related field is required, with a Master's degree or CPA designation strongly preferred, and at least 10 years' experience in finance or accounting, including 4 years in a senior leadership role. The VP must also demonstrate strong leadership skills, the ability to build cross-functional relationships, and a commitment to the values of equity, inclusion, and mission-driven excellence.
