Senior Environmental Project Manager

Manages Others: Yes Education: 4 yr degree – Accredited University or College (minimum) Acuity Environmental Solutions (AcuityES) offers an excellent opportunity for a Senior Project Manager in the Indianapolis area. This position is for a qualified individual who wishes to pursue a career with a dynamic, employee-friendly, smaller company that conducts state of the art remediation projects throughout the United States. Responsibilities Serves as the senior remediation manager of various chlorinated, petroleum and heavy-metal impacted sites; Familiar with extraction (water and vapor), sparging, chemical oxidation, chemical reduction, bioremediation and bioaugmentation technologies; Handles challenging remediation projects including soil blending, chemical injections, groundwater infiltrations galleries, and permeable reactive barriers; Evaluates project sites and determines appropriate remedial alternatives; Prepares, manages, and reviews remediation system designs, reports, permits, specifications, work scopes and proposals; Is willing to assist in all elements of the project, including field activities when necessary; Have knowledge of Indiana Department of Environmental Management (IDEM) Technical Requirements for Site Investigations and Remediation; Manages, trains and mentors staff regarding remediation and engineering activities; and, Interfaces with clients as technical lead on remediation projects. Requirements A Bachelors, Masters or Doctorate level degree in Geology, Engineering or Science; Greater than 8 years of environmental engineering/consulting experience is required; Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills; Professional Engineer (PE) or Licensed Professional Geologist (LPG) are preferred; and, A Background Check and a Drug Screening will be required. #J-18808-Ljbffr
