Purchasing Assistant

We are seeking an Admin to support our Reliability and Maintenance teams. Would you be able to assist us? Rate of pay – will be based on experience with range $24-27/hr Duration – 3-6 months Hours – Mon-Fri 7AM-3PM | 4-8 hours of OT JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Work closely with cross-functional teams, including operations, maintenance, and quality assurance, to align reliability initiatives with organizational goals. Maintain databases and spreadsheets, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality of information. Prepare and create reports, presentations, and other documents to track reliability improvements, trends and system performance. Collect and analyze data to support decision-making processes. Assist in coordinating projects, ensuring timelines and deliverables are met. Organize and maintain files, records, and documentation, ensuring easy access and retrieval. Create, process, and track purchase orders, ensuring accuracy of pricing, quantities, and timely delivery dates. Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to support procurement needs, and resolve discrepancies Monitor inventory levels and coordinate in managing stock levels to prevent shortages or excess inventory. Ensure that all purchases comply with organizational policies and procedures. Performs other duties as they might be assigned. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE 3+ years of experience in an administrative support role, with demonstrated proficiency in office management. Associate's degree in Business Administration or a related field; Bachelor’s degree preferred. Proficient in purchasing and data analysis software applications, including Microsoft Suite and Oracle KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES Possess excellent oral and written communications skills. Outstanding organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy.
