What You'll Do

• Set up workstations with all necessary ingredients and cooking equipment
• Prep, cook, and assemble dishes according to recipes and standards
• Practice portion control and minimize waste to help keep costs on track
• Keep service running smoothly by restocking ingredients and staying ahead of prep times
• Maintain a clean, organized workstation, including equipment, tables, shelves, and trash areas
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and personal hygiene standards
• Ensure the quality and freshness of all ingredients and finished dishes
• Complete opening and closing kitchen tasks
• Assist with special functions and events as needed

Qualifications

Experience

Preferred

1-3 years of experience cooking in a restaurant, hotel, or resort. SERVSafe certification preferred.
