Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and verify medication orders for pediatric inpatients.
• Utilize EPIC and Pyxis systems for medication dispensing and inventory control.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure safe and effective pharmaceutical care.
• Maintain accurate records and comply with hospital policies and regulatory requirements.
• Provide clinical guidance and support during night shifts.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active pharmacist license in Texas.
• Experience with pediatric pharmacy, especially in hospital settings.
• Proficient with EPIC electronic medical records and Pyxis medication dispensing systems.
• Strong inpatient pharmacy background preferred.
• Ability to work independently on night shifts and follow hospital protocols.

Schedule:

• Night shift from 8:00 PM to 6:30 AM.
• Work 7 days on followed by 7 days off.
• Potential transition to a day shift later in the assignment to cover an FMLA absence through January 13, 2027.
