Job Title: Imaging Support IR Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Interventional Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (07:30 - 16:00) Experience: Minimum 2 years in Vascular Interventional Radiology License: VA license required, pending licenses accepted Certifications: BLS, ARRT required Must-Have: Strong vascular/IR experience, familiarity with Hybrid OR procedures, ability to work independently

Description: The candidate will provide imaging support in the operating room during vascular interventional radiology procedures. Active involvement in the entire case workflow is essential rather than simply operating the equipment. Responsibilities include pulling inventory and ordering cases in the electronic system prior to procedures. The candidate will run the table and controls during cases, performing 3D spins and working with fusion technology. Engagement in the room throughout the procedure, including filming and post-processing images, is expected. Using the designated documentation system to add inventory used during the case is required. The candidate will work closely with the vascular surgeons, OR team, and other members of the procedural team. During downtime, the candidate will utilize imaging equipment to support simple surgical cases alongside the radiologic staff. Procedures may include using imaging methods to assess organs such as kidneys and bladder. Rotating call is required every fourth week, and candidates must adhere to a 50-mile radius rule.
