Job Summary As a Registered Nurse Inpatient Rehab, your voice to influence patient care is valued and empowered at every turn –whether through open, collaborative relationships with your direct manager or more formal opportunities through hospital councils and national nursing initiatives. You will help shape decisions that elevate both patient outcomes and the future of nursing. Under the direct supervision of the Manager, and according to hospital policies and procedures, the Registered Nurse assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care for the assigned patients. Qualifications Education and Experience Required: Associates degree from a NLN school of professional nursing. Preferred: Completion of or actively pursuing a BSN degree. Experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute care setting. Licenses and Certificates Required: Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in the state(s) of practice and/or has an active compact license, in accordance with law and regulation. FT/PT/PRN colleagues with a compact license from a state other than Texas must: apply for Texas RN license within 60 days from hire, obtain current TX RN license within 6 months of application for TX RN license, BLS through American Heart Association or American Red Cross at time of hire.
