Cashier

We are seeking a friendly, reliable, and customer-oriented Cashier to join our growing team. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for our customers, ensuring they receive exceptional service during their checkout experience. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable handling cash transactions, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities:   - Manage point-of-sale (POS) transactions, including scanning items, totaling bills, and processing cash, credit, and debit payments accurately.   - Provide a warm, welcoming greeting to all customers entering the store and answer any basic inquiries regarding products, pricing, or promotions.   - Issue receipts, refunds, credits, or change due to customers efficiently.   - Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked checkout lane and storefront area.   - Assist with counting down the cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift to ensure accurate balances.   - Collaborate with floor staff and management to resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally.

salary: $16.9 - $16.91 per hour

work hours: 4 PM - 12 AM

Responsibilities

Carrying out all daily task in a manner that advances Wonderful Citrus’ visions and goals
 Reporting to work when scheduled, on time, in appropriate uniform with exceptional personal
hygiene
 Perform various general service and production duties.
 Follow all food safety rules
 Follow all Physical Safety rules
 Main entrée serving and short‐order production
 Sandwich and salad production
 Customer mealtime service, includes serving customers and keeping the service line full, clean
and organized
 Stocking shelves, receiving and properly putting orders away in correct storage areas
 Cashier duties (all cashier policies and cash handling procedures must be followed always)
 Properly storing leftover food
 Cleaning, dishwashing and garbage removal
 Cleaning of all stations, equipment, floors, and shelving
 Washing all dishes, containers, pans and utensils
 Taking part in all training as requested by the company
 As you finish your assigned duties, report to immediate supervisor before clocking out
 Treat fellow associates and customers with respect, kindness and responsiveness

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment
• standing for 8 hours at one time
• working weekends

Skills

• Cahier (1 year of experience is preferred)
• computer skills (1 year of experience is preferred)
