We are interested in expanding our team to meet the demand of our federal clients.Job Description:Successful engineering company seeks a highly motivated, detail-oriented self-starter to provide CAD drafting support to our engineering team. In this role, you will collaborate with project members in the design, development, and implementation of complex security initiatives.We serve both commercial and government markets, delivering technologically advanced security solutions. Our offerings integrate multi-level security infrastructures, including both custom and Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) physical security systems such as CCTV, access control, alarm systems, and related technologies.Requirements:TeamworkProficiency in AutoCAD and developing detailed engineering drawingsDemonstrated experience with Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel, Outlook, and Word)Strong verbal and written communication skills in EnglishAuthorized to work in the U.S.Ability to pass required federal background checks (criminal and civil)Responsibilities:Analyze architectural and engineering drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare shop drawingsRevise shop drawings based on engineer mark-ups until full project approval is achievedReview designs and red lines for accuracy and qualityPrepare a final record set of shop drawings from approved mark-upsManage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlinesBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingHealth, Dental and Vision insuranceHealth savings accountLife insurancePaid time offParental leaveProfessional development assistanceReferral programRetirement planPay: $30 per hourEmployment Type: Full-timeExperience Level: Mid-levelLocation: Hybrid remoteDuring the first 90 days, employees are expected to work on-site full-time for comprehensive onboarding and training.
