Job Overview: As a Cashier, you are an essential part of the team responsible for processing orders, handling payments, supporting the operation of our to-go orders and maintaining a clean and organized cashier station.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet customers warmly and provide a welcoming atmosphere.
• Operate the cash register/drawer, accurately handling cash, credit/debit cards, and mobile payments.
• Process customer orders quickly and correctly, ensuring accuracy in pricing and receipts.
• Provide information about menu items, promotions, and specials.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cashier station and surrounding areas.
• Assist with stocking and replenishing display cases and front counter items as needed.
• Follow all cash-handling and register procedures to ensure accuracy and security.
• Address customer inquiries and resolve minor complaints professionally.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth café operations.

Qualifications:

• Previous cashier or customer service experience preferred, but not required.
• Basic math skills and ability to handle transactions accurately.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean workspace.
• Must be reliable, punctual, and team-oriented.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and carrying items up to 25 pounds.

• Comfortable working in a café setting with exposure to food and other kitchen equipment.
