Senior AWS Data Engineer

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior AWS Data Engineer in Charlotte, NC.Summary:In this role, you will focus on Domain Design and Architecture. You will lay out data foundation and architecture, which then gets built out into specific technical requirements/components and passed to data Engineering team. There is some engineering component to pilot test things prior to recommending.

• For the senior folks, looking for 12+ years of experience; Strong tenure within financial organizations
• A data modeling and architecture skillset; Comfortable with engineering (foundation in data engineering)
• Communication skills and problem-solving skills
• Longer tenure with banking sector (Financial is first choice, Retail background)
• Know how to run projects, know how to run portfolios
• Able to leverage common distribution list when we find good people
• AWS, Python, PySpark, SQL, Oops, AI

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
