RESIDENTIAL, COMMERCIAL, PERSONAL PROPERTY APPRAISER Pritchard & Abbott, Inc. is currently accepting resumes for its Karnes CAD office (Houston District). R e sponsibilities include physically measuring and classifying all improvements and land types within the county, assist Real Estate Manager with gathering market transaction information, market analysis, sales ratio analysis, mass appraisal schedule development (improvement, land, ag, and commercial), rendition processing, taxpayer assistance, valuation protest resolution, and other duties as assigned by the Real Estate Manager. Preferred qualifications for the position include a high school diploma or higher level of education, the desire to learn appraisal theory, land and improvement classifications, and basic building construction techniques, MS Office (Word & Excel), and communicate effectively with the public. Must be able to take and complete Texas Department of Licensing & Regulation courses relating to the Registered Professional Appraiser licensing requirements or currently hold a RPA license. Must have a clean driving record. Salary range will be contingent upon qualifications and commensurate with experience.
