Occupational Therapist

Unit Notes

- General Certification Requirement: BLS (can be completed on hire as well). License for state of
Illinois for Occupational Therapy.
- Other Certs Required for all OT: N/A
- Common diagnosis / Types of patients: Individuals with sensory processing challenges, brachial plexus injury, fine motor delay, Autism, ect.
- Acute Inpatient, Acute Rehab, Skilled, Outpatient?: Outpatient
- What areas are they required to cover?: Outpatient OT for birth - 18
- Experience or 'Must have' skills & common job duties: Pediatric experience for at least 1 year
- Is there an OT Manager/Supervisor on each shift?: There will be access to some, but they may not always be onsite.
- Do you staff Rehab Aides: COTAs?: No
- Shifts & Scheduling: Monday-Friday (3 days 8-430 and 2 days 9-530)
- Weekend Requirements: If interested but not expected. Must have IP experience if willing to offer weekends
- Holiday Requirements: No
- Scrub Color/Dress Code: Scrubs are okay and preferred.
