CT Technologist II

Role Overview This PRN CT Technologist II position involves delivering safe, high-quality imaging care in a team-focused, patient-centered environment. You will perform clinical procedures across diverse patient populations, adhering to radiation safety principles and preparing patients for scans. Your responsibilities include operating CT equipment, administering contrast, assisting with invasive procedures, maintaining a clean work environment, and ensuring equipment functionality through quality control. You will communicate effectively with patients, document activities, and support departmental performance initiatives. Your role emphasizes professionalism, adherence to regulatory standards, and providing education and support to patients and staff. Qualifications & Skills Associate degree required; radiologic technology certification from an accredited program ARRT (R) and (CT) registration or NMTCB (CT) certification Less than 1 year to 6 months CT experience; cross-training or advanced certification preferred CPR/BLS certification upon hire Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy, radiation safety, and patient care techniques Basic computer skills and familiarity with medical imaging systems Key Duties Perform clinical CT procedures, selecting appropriate technical factors and ensuring patient safety Assist in performance improvement, workflow, and educational activities Maintain a sterile environment and prepare examination areas Transport and position patients, verify orders, and explain procedures Operate equipment, perform quality control, and troubleshoot issues Educate and support patients, addressing their physical and emotional needs Document care activities and process images for interpretation Act professionally, adhering to ethical standards and departmental policies #J-18808-Ljbffr Cherry Hill Free Clinic
