Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, where you will monitor entry points, verify badges and credentials, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence. In this role, you will support smooth site access, conduct routine patrols, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication while reflecting our values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity.

Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, contractors, and employees by following site-specific access procedures, checking credentials, and supporting entry and exit activity at the location.
• Monitor access points, visitor logs, badges, and deliveries to help identify unauthorized activity and report security-related concerns according to site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting events and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency responders when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, observing gates, fences, parking areas, and operational spaces where working conditions may vary.
• Support security-related procedures for a manufacturing and industrial location by verifying authorized access to restricted areas, directing foot and vehicle traffic, and reporting unusual conditions or policy violations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
