The base pay actually offered may vary based upon the candidate's skills and experience, job-related knowledge, geographic location, and other specific business and organizational needs.As a candidate, you are encouraged to ask compensation related questions and have an open dialogue with your recruiter who can provide you more specific details for this role.Line of Business:Enterprise Enabling FunctionsJob Description:The Technology Risk PM II (US) is responsible for leading the end-to-end delivery of key initiatives supporting U.S. Bank Technology, with a strong focus on risk, controls, and governance. The Project Manager plans, manages, and executes projects across all phases of the delivery lifecycle, ensuring alignment with TD’s business and enterprise strategies as well as adherence to internal control frameworks.The Project Manager is accountable for maintaining strong documentation, ensuring audit readiness, and aligning work to regulatory and risk management requirements.The position partners closely with technology, risk, compliance, and business stakeholders across one or more Lines of Business, providing leadership, direction, and coaching to delivery teams. This includes facilitating governance forums, managing stakeholder communications, and driving decision-making through structured updates and reporting.Success in this role requires strong execution discipline, the ability to navigate complex, multi-stakeholder environments, and a focus on delivering solutions that meet both business objectives and TD’s risk and control standards.Depth & Scope:Manages projects with moderate regulatory oversightProject risk profile is low to mediumManagement direction or executive oversight is provided as necessaryTypically leads the delivery of Tier 3 and /or Tier 4 projects with up to medium complexity profilesMay indirectly manage a cross-LoB Project team consisting of Business Analysts, Business SMEs and TechnologyResources where applicable to the projectMay manage a number of small projects at any given time, and time horizon of projects generally range from short to medium termEducation & Experience:Bachelor's degree requiredProject Management Certification required7+ years relevant experienceComprehensive knowledge of the practices, procedures and principles of project managementExposure to financial management with respect to tracking, forecasting and managing project budgets.Ability to make an impact, influence and achieve results with effective negotiation, problem-solving and communication skillsStrong facilitation initiativesEngages appropriate stakeholders to identify and manage required outcomes of projects for the businessEstablishes effective project oversight and other governance bodies, and engages the correct levels to support the direction for the projectProvides ongoing communication to key stakeholders, including the Project Sponsor, Business Project Owner, Program Manager and Portfolio Manager to ensure they are aware of significant changes to the project status in a timely mannerResponds to inquiries and escalates concerns from stakeholders at all levels in the organization (technical, business, Senior and Executive Management)Provides advice and guidance to business partners and project team as required regarding best practices in project managementApplies Organizational Change Management principles and practices in order to effectively manage the people side of change (e.g., stakeholder analysis, business process management, people readiness, sustainment planning, etc.)Communicates project summary, status, financials, etc. to appropriate high-level executives at the BankCollaborates with the appropriate partners to ensure required resources are assigned to the project for successful deliveryAssesses and ensures that customer experience / stakeholder implications are appropriately managedBuilds consensus and relationships with project team and businessLeads the project team, stakeholders and key project deliverablesEmployee/Team Accountabilities:Indirectly manages a cross LoB Project team consisting of Business Analysts, Requirements SMEs, Business SMEs and TechnologyResources where applicable to the projectProvides advice and counsel to project team and business partnersLiaises with external vendors and consultants as requiredCoaches, leads and mentors project team members and provides regular performance assessments to employees and their people managersSupports effective onboarding and offboarding of project resourcesEffectively manages project resources and external contractors / consultants in coordination of competing prioritiesEducates project team members on governance process and facilitates related sessionsLeverages the creativity and experience of project team members to solve issues as they ariseDevelops an understanding of the technical / business aspects of the project in order to effectively manage the project and resourcesWorks effectively in teams by being driven to win for the TD team, working well with diverse teamsManages the project team, stakeholders and key project deliverablesShares project
