Sales Associate – Copper Cellar Marketplace (West Knoxville) Copper Cellar Marketplace is looking for an energetic, dependable Sales Associate to join our West Knoxville team! Located next to Chesapeake's on Parkside Drive, Copper Cellar Marketplace is a small specialty grocery market offering quality foods, prepared meals, specialty products, and the hospitality our guests have come to expect from The Copper Cellar Family of Restaurants. This Is an Active, Hands-On Job If you're looking for a job where you sit behind a register all day, this probably isn't it! Our Sales Associates are on their feet and involved in all parts of the Marketplace. One minute you may be helping prep products and meals, the next you're stocking a display, organizing inventory, helping a guest find something, cleaning up the store, or ringing up a purchase. Because we're a smaller market, everyone pitches in. We're looking for someone who notices what needs to be done and jumps in to help without always needing to be asked. What You'll Do Help prep marketplace foods, meals, and products for daily sale Stock, rotate, and organize products throughout the store Keep coolers, displays, shelves, and food cases full, clean, and inviting Receive products and help organize inventory and storage areas Greet guests and provide friendly, genuine hospitality Learn our products so you can answer questions and make recommendations Operate the cash register and process transactions accurately Help maintain a clean, organized, and well-run marketplace Assist with opening, closing, cleaning, and other daily store responsibilities Jump in wherever needed to help the team keep things moving Who We're Looking For You’ll be a great fit if you are: Energetic and comfortable being on your feet throughout your shift Friendly, outgoing, and enjoy talking with people A self-starter who can see what needs to be done and take initiative Organized and able to keep up with several responsibilities at once Dependable and willing to pitch in wherever needed Comfortable working with food and performing basic food prep A team player with a positive attitude and good sense of humor Able to work efficiently without sacrificing quality or hospitality Comfortable using basic math and handling transactions Available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays Physical Requirements This is an active position. Team members should be comfortable: Standing and walking for the majority of the shift Frequently bending, reaching, stocking, and organizing Moving products and supplies throughout the Marketplace Regularly lifting and carrying up to 30 lbs.
