Registered Nurse

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: MS/Tele Float Duration: 18 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 Years License: Current Nursing License Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: Proficient in interpretation and management of dysrhythmias. Experience with orthopedic and neurological stroke, cardiac telemetry required. No first-time travelers accepted. Description: Travelers must work all scheduled shifts and cannot accommodate requests outside of approved time off. Travelers can have one of three major holidays off and must work two holidays (eve/day). Patient ratios are 1:4-5. Experience with high volume on orthopedic floors preferred. Floating is required to all acute care and telemetry units, including behavioral health. Clinicians should be flexible with scheduled shifts. Strong time management skills are necessary. Experience with telemetry units is required. Floating can occur within a 12-hour shift, working 4 hours in one unit and 8 hours in another. The facility sees a diverse patient population, primarily adult patients. Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy, respiratory services, social services, and pharmacy.
