Facility: Charming Lakes Rehabilitation Position: Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) Location: Lakeland, FL Shift: PRN Pay: $37.00 per hour Join Our Rehabilitation Team! Charming Lakes Rehabilitation is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our supportive, team-oriented rehabilitation team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional who enjoys helping residents improve their independence, functional abilities, and quality of life. Key Responsibilities Implement treatment plans developed by the Occupational Therapist Provide occupational therapy interventions, including ADL training, therapeutic exercises, and functional activities Assist with individualized treatment programs based on each resident’s needs and goals Organize and facilitate treatment groups as appropriate Educate residents, families, and caregivers regarding therapy programs and strategies Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation Participate in care plan meetings and interdisciplinary team collaboration Monitor, clean, and maintain therapy equipment and report any equipment needs Promote resident safety, dignity, independence, and quality of life Deliver compassionate, high-quality care while respecting each resident’s individual needs and rights Requirements Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program Certification or eligibility for certification through the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) Licensed or eligible for licensure as a COTA in the state of Florida Previous experience in a hospital, skilled nursing facility, rehabilitation center, or related healthcare setting preferred Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills Commitment to providing compassionate, resident-centered care Why Join Us?
