We are seeking a motivated, dependable, and customer-focused Property Manager Trainee to join our team in Warren, PA. This part-time, primarily office-based position provides hands-on training and mentoring from the office manager and senior leasing professional while supporting a balanced portfolio of residential and commercial properties. The role offers exposure to marketing, leasing, tenant relations, bookkeeping, and property operations, with an opportunity to advance into a property manager position.

Responsibilities

• Market available residential and commercial properties through online advertising platforms and social media.
• Create and maintain property listings, advertisements, and marketing content.
• Respond to prospective tenant inquiries and coordinate property showings.
• Support leasing activities and tenant relations.
• Coordinate maintenance requests, vendors, and contractors.
• Maintain accurate tenant, property, and lease records.
• Assist with rent collection, bookkeeping, invoicing, and tenant account management using QuickBooks and spreadsheets.
• Conduct property inspections and document findings as needed.
• Provide general administrative and office support.
• Participate in training and develop knowledge of residential and commercial property management.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office, email, spreadsheets, cloud-based applications, and social media platforms.
• Ability to learn QuickBooks and other software systems quickly.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Willingness to learn and develop new skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in customer service, office administration, sales, hospitality, leasing, real estate, or property management.
• Experience with QuickBooks or bookkeeping.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office, spreadsheets, Facebook, Instagram, and other social media platforms.
• Basic photography, social media, or digital marketing experience.
• Strong organization and attention to detail.
• Interest in pursuing a career in residential or commercial property management.
