Event Operations and Auction Specialist

LocationJacksonville, FL**Reporting Relationship**: This position will report to the Head of Events**Purpose:** We are seeking a highly organized, revenue-minded, and hospitality-driven professional to provide dedicated ownership over two high-impact areas: auction strategy & execution and celebrity/VIP travel coordination for our Golf, Gala, and select third-party events. The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced, high-visibility environments and brings both operational excellence and strong relational intelligence.If you love driving revenue through creative auction strategy, managing high-touch logistics, and ensuring every detail reflects excellence, this role is for you.**Responsibilities:**Lead Auction Strategy & Execution· Own all live and silent auction planning and execution· Source and secure high-value auction items and experiences· Develop pricing strategy aligned with donor psychology and revenue goals· Manage auction platforms, timelines, and on-site execution· Oversee post-event fulfillment and donor stewardship· Track revenue performance and identify opportunities for growthManage Celebrity & VIP Travel Logistics· Coordinate celebrity invitations in collaboration with leadership· Manage travel bookings and itineraries through our travel partners· Oversee seamless arrival, departure, and event participation logistics· Proactively resolve scheduling or travel changes· Maintain organized communication and documentationStrengthen Relationships & Systems· Support structured celebrity engagement and thank-you strategy· Collaborate cross-functionally with Events, Marketing, Development, and Finance· Improve systems, documentation, and operational clarity· Protect confidential and high-profile information**Qualifications:*** 3–5+ years of experience in event management, fundraising, hospitality, travel logistics, or related field* Demonstrated ability to independently manage complex, detail-driven projects* Strong understanding of fundraising principles and auction strategy preferred* Experience interacting with high-touch donors, executives, or VIP stakeholders preferred* Exceptional organization, follow-through, and communication skills* Ability to remain calm and solution-oriented under pressure* High level of discretion and professionalism* Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience considered.# Location* Jacksonville, FL | Ministry* Jacksonville, FL | Engagement* Jacksonville, FL | Ministry* Jacksonville, FL | Audience Experience* Jacksonville, FL | HR* Jacksonville, FL | Marketing #J-18808-Ljbffr Tech9
