Job DescriptionJob Description Operate single and dual tip pedal activated spot welders / resistance welding Follow all procedures in spot welder manual Perform pre-operation equipment inspections Verify welding tip alignment and make adjustments to maintain quality of product Perform tip changes and adjust heat schedules Perform quality checks on welds and log test results Dress/clean welding tips as necessary per welder, profile, and material Stack, band, and label finished 10' and 20' product Operate air powered banding equipment Operate forklift Read micrometers, dial calipers and tape measures Use scan guns, kiosk, and label printing Follow all safety procedures and guidelines Keep the work area clean, orderly, and safe Cross train in press room Other duties as directed by management Lift up to 80 pounds swing shift 6:00-2:30 and 2:30-11:00 shift differential of $2.00 for afternoon turn $19.25 to start, possible $20.00 at six months based on production rate.
