Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 3/2 Split Schedule (alternating 3 and 4 shifts per week with alternating weekends) | Overtime may be available after 48 hours

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit with a 6:1 patient-to-nurse ratio
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for assigned patients
• Accurately document patient information and care activities using Cerner EMR
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
• Adhere to unit protocols, infection control standards, and facility policies

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Mississippi
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Minimum of 2 years of Medical Surgical nursing experience
• Proficiency with Cerner EMR
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience
• Experience working in a high-acuity Medical Surgical environment
• Strong adaptability and ability to integrate quickly into new clinical settings
