Summary: As a Speech Therapist PRN, you will play a vital role in our interdisciplinary rehabilitation team, providing speech and language services to clients with various speech, language, cognitive, or swallowing disorders. You will assess clients, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide speech and language therapies, monitoring disease progression and adjusting treatments accordingly. Excellent documentation skills and adherence to regulatory requirements are essential. Responsibilities: Administer speech and language evaluations, tests, or examinations to diagnose and plan treatments for clients with various speech problems and swallowing disorders Assess clients with various speech, language, cognitive, or swallowing problems and develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical diagnoses Provide speech and language services to clients; monitor disease progression and adjust treatments accordingly Instruct clients in practicing speech and language therapeutic exercises; provide consultation for clients working through speech and language treatment processes Ensure all speech and language related standards, policies, protocols, and quality requirements are met Demonstrate level of treatment associated with their specialty provided to their clients Follow and adhere to accepted clinical practice guidelines of professional organizations Exhibit flexibility with acceptance of variable work schedules/assignments Perform other related duties as requested by manager Qualifications: Appropriate education level required in accordance with state licensure Must be licensed in the state(s) of practice as a Speech Therapist Valid driver's license when required Obtain and maintain required department-specific competencies and certifications Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers required or within the first 60 days of employment What We Offer: Competitive hourly rate of $60-$65 Flexible PRN scheduling Dynamic and supportive work environment Opportunity to work with a diverse client population Professional growth and development opportunities #J-18808-Ljbffr
