Location 99 E STATE ST,GLOVERSVILLE, NY, 12078-1203,United States Base Pay $35.03 - $45.54 / Hour Employee Type FT Non-Exempt Required Degree 4 Year Degree Job Purpose The purpose of this job is to perform various chemical, microscopic, morphologic, immunologic, bacteriologic and other tests to obtain data for use in the diagnosis and treatment of disease. Organize and assess all work assignments to determine priorities, segregate test groups and analyze results. Performs complex laboratory tests according to written protocol. Analyzes, interprets and evaluates the reliability of test results for which he/she is responsible. Exercises independent judgement in the conduct of the clinical laboratory with minimal supervision. EDUCATION Possess four (4) year high school or equivalent education, plus B.S. or B.A. degree in Medical Technology or equivalent. PREFERRED BSMT/ASCP. LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRATION Possess a current New York State C.L.T. licensure. EXPERIENCE Preferable but not required as long as education licensure requirement is met.
