JOB TITLE: AM Food Service Attendant - Athletic Training Table

JOB PURPOSE: Perform a variety of routine tasks required in the operation of a food service facility; clean and maintain a designated area; assist in the preparation of food; and work under direct supervision.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Load and operate dish or pot washing machines and hand wash items unable to clean in machines as a primary job function; other positions may assist in these areas.
• Clean and maintain dish washing equipment, such as dishwashers, sinks, and drains, ensuring they are in proper working condition.
• Follow cleaning schedules for equipment maintenance and ensure regular cleaning tasks are completed.
• Empty and maintain trash and recycling bins, disposing of waste properly and efficiently.
• Clean designated food service area(s).
• Assist in general cleaning duties, such as sweeping, mopping, and wiping down surfaces to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.

SUPPLEMENTAL FUNCTIONS:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or GED

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Food service sanitation techniques and regulations.
• Food service set-up and preparation techniques and requirements.
• Cleaning procedures.
• Effective personal hygiene.
• Food Service machinery operation.
