Oncology Registered Nurse (RN) - Day Shift

This is a 13-week contract position.

Day shift: 5x8 hours from 07:45 to 17:15.

We are seeking an experienced Oncology Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of Oncology-specific experience and be proficient in administering chemotherapy and managing central lines. This role involves working with adult patients in a Hematology & Medical Oncology setting, utilizing infusion chairs to provide care while maintaining social distancing.

Responsibilities:

• Administer chemotherapy and other treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patients for adverse reactions and provide necessary interventions.
• Maintain patient records using Epic charting system.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient care.
• Participate in patient education regarding treatment plans and procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum 2 years of Oncology-specific nursing experience.
• Valid RN license (NC or Compact license pending accepted).
• Current BCLS certification.
• ONS Chemo/Bio Card is required.
• OCN certification preferred.
