Intern – Project SpecialistLabcorp is seeking an Intern – Project Specialist to join our Denial Workflow and Automation Team located in Burlington, NC with the flexibility of a hybrid work schedule.Days/Hours: Monday–Friday / 8:00 AM–5:00 PM / 40 hours per weekJob Responsibilities:Observe and analyze denial operational processes and identify opportunities for improvement.Support Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) inventory management and validation activities.Assist with developing and maintaining reporting solutions and automated workflows.Analyze operational data and contribute to reporting, process improvement initiatives, and special projects.Minimum Qualifications:Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program.Working towards a degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.Additional Job Standards:Strong attention to detail and willingness to follow billing procedures.Eagerness to learn new corporate billing and denial processes.Initiative and ability to work independently under general supervision.Genuine interest in corporate billing processes and reporting.Maintains professionalism, including punctuality and appropriate conduct.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Actively participates in training sessions and applies newly learned skills accordingly.Exposure to data analysis, reporting, or business intelligence tools such as Alteryx, Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Excel, or similar technologies.Join Labcorp's 2027 Global Internship Program and take the first step toward a meaningful career in healthcare innovation!
