Job Opportunity – Neurologist – Michigan
Start Date: November 2026
Location: Northern Michigan
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Clinic hours Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM with outpatient appointments Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM. 24-hour weekend call coverage from 8:00 AM Saturday to 8:00 AM Sunday. After-hours call coverage required. Patient volume of 6-8 patients per day.
Highlights:
- Outpatient and inpatient neurological care with a balanced case mix
- EEG interpretation for both inpatient and outpatient cases as needed
- Onsite hospital coverage when outpatient schedule allows
- EMR system: Cerner
- Comprehensive procedural scope including lumbar puncture, EEG, brain death examination, evoked potentials, and radiologic exam interpretation
- Malpractice coverage included in compensation package
Requirements:
- Board Certified in Neurology (Board Eligible not accepted)
- Active Michigan state medical license
- Active DEA registration
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- NIH Stroke Scale/tPA competency preferred
- Current immunization records: Hepatitis B, MMR, Varicella (vaccine series or immune titer), current flu season vaccination, COVID documentation, TB (within 12 months), TDAP (within 10 years)
- Self-Query NPDB required
- Must be local to the region; relocation or local residency required
