Physician, Academic Core Faculty Family Medicine

Overview Position: Family Medicine Physician - 30% clinical and 70% academic Location: Evanston Hours: Full-time Pay Range: $222,369 (10th Percentile) - $356,709 (75th Percentile) - As a valued member of an integrated team, your placement within the pay range is dependent on a variety of factors, including but not limited to FTE, prior experience, certifications, degrees, subspecialties, projected volumes, and quality performance. What You Will Need License: Illinois Medical License or License Pending Certification: The successful candidate for this position will have completed a Family Medicine residency and be board certified/eligible by the American Board of Family Medicine. Responsibilities Academic appointment to the University of Chicago, Pritzker School of Medicine is awarded to qualified candidates commensurate with experience. Formal faculty development training is available for improving teaching skills, curriculum design, and clinical scholarship (including publication). Faculty responsibilities will include giving didactic sessions, providing mentorship of residents as well as residency curriculum oversight. Teach and precept residents in adult and pediatric outpatient and inpatient care settings, which includes performing and teaching outpatient procedures, prenatal and inpatient obstetrical care. Teaching family medicine residents and medical students; providing care for underserved families and communities. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited and recognized medical school required. Eligible for medical licensing in the State of Illinois. Board certification/Board eligible in area of expertise.
