American Traveler is seeking an experienced Cath Lab RN for a 13‑week travel contract at a high‑volume academic medical center in Boston, requiring an active MA RN license and a minimum of 5 years of experience. Requirements Active MA RN license required; no pending or conditional licenses accepted Current BLS and ACLS certifications — AHA only; no other providers accepted for this location Minimum 5 years of relevant nursing experience required 2+ years of ICU experience preferred 1+ years of Cath Lab RN experience preferred Epic EMR experience preferred 2 professional references required for consideration Flu vaccine required with no religious or medical exemptions permitted Responsibilities Cardiac Catheterization Lab (Cath Lab) within a large academic medical center's Heart and Vascular Institute Facility features 7 procedure rooms, a hybrid OR, and a 12‑bay peri‑procedural space for patient prep and recovery; all procedure rooms have been upgraded within the last 1–5 years Case types range from outpatient right heart catheterizations (RHC) and stable coronary angiograms to complex coronary, structural, and vascular interventions, averaging 30+ cases per day Primary charting system is Epic; hemodynamic measurements are performed on the Siemens Sensis system Schedule options include either 3x12‑hour shifts or 4x10‑hour shifts; day shift hours are 07:30–20:00 Weeknight, weekend, and holiday call is possible during the contract; no worked weekend or holiday shifts are required In a 13‑week contract, candidates can typically expect 1–2 weeknight call assignments and possibly 1 weekend call assignment The Cath Lab RN serves as a critical member of the patient care team, collaborating with colleagues to ensure continuity of care and delivering patient- and family‑centered care Prior travel nursing experience is preferred but not required; first‑time travelers will be considered Local candidates residing within 60 miles of the facility are eligible to apply Flu vaccination is required during flu season as a condition of employment at this facility No validated parking is available at this Boston location; public transportation is encouraged, and public parking lots are available at an estimated cost of $17–$22 per day Timekeeping is managed through UKG/Kronos Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non‑taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts #J-18808-Ljbffr American Traveler
