**TITLE:** HR Manager**LOCATION:** Hybrid in Oswego & Lombard IL**COMP RANGE:** $120,000 - $150,000/year plus bonusGriffith Foods is hiring an HR Manager to develop and drive HR initiatives and partners with business leaders to deliver business results through HR best practices and process management. Serves as a strong player-coach providing strategic business partnership to President and business, while directing the execution of day-to-day HR activities. The HR Manager helps co-create and drive all strategic imperatives to ensure leadership manages and develops its talent, understands collective bench strength, facilitates talent movement, and coordinates succession planning at all levels with mindfulness to diversity and inclusion initiatives. A true business partner; both strategic and hands-on. An integral part of the Custom Culinary Leadership Team and advisor to the President of Custom Culinary.This is your opportunity to help shape how our company performs by influencing workforce planning and talent strategy, leadership effectiveness and succession planning, organizational design and change management, culture, engagement, and retention.**As an HR** **Manager****, your responsibilities will include:*** Provides direction on matters specific to the business unit they support and partners with senior leadership to define and translate the specific business needs of the function / business unit into HR priorities.* Drives the talent agenda by managing the development and performance of a team regarding standardization and execution of routine HR services such as employee relations, talent management and development, succession planning, performance management, compensation and recruiting activities.* Leads the HR resources for two plant facilities and consults and advises team on routine employee relations and discipline matters, in collaboration with in-house Legal Department.* Evaluates function-specific data, talent analytics including compensation, diverstiy etc...for alignment with HR priorities and / or proactive mitigation.* Facilitates and advises on all programmatic HR activities (goal setting, performance reviews, talent planning, engagement, compensation planning, etc.).**The HR Manager position is well suited for you if you:*** Think strategically, aligning people practices with organizational goals* Adapt well to change and can support employees and leaders through transitions* Are detail-oriented but people-focused, combining policy knowledge with emotional intelligence* Are self-starter with the proven ability to successfully perform in a changing environment that involves directing multiple projects and developing and executing strategy**Qualified candidates will have:*** Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Organization Development, or related field.* 7 years progressive experience in HR management to include employee relations, compensation, benefits, talent acquisition, organizational design, talent management and development.* Prior experience in providing HR support and/or leading HR for a manufacturing population.* Significant work experience as a people manager, including demonstrated leadership, coaching and development of a high-performing team of individuals.* Willingness to be onsite five days a week in Oswego and Lombard offices.**What will set you apart:*** MBA or Master’s degree in HRM* SPHR certificate* Experience with HRIS system, Workday* Bilingual is a plus, SpanishThis role is affiliated to the Oswego and Lombard IL locations, and candidates for this role need to reside within a commutable distance of that location and will be required to come into that location.
