About the Position

Opportunity:

RRT - Respiratory Therapist

Job Details:

• Work in the Respiratory Services department across all critical care units and floors
• Rotating schedule with varying weekends required (at least 4 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule)
• Patient ratios range from 10 to 25 patients
• Day shift staffing consists of 15-20 RRTs for adult service lines and 3-4 RRTs for NICU/Pediatric service lines
• Night shift staffing consists of 12-16 RRTs for adult service lines and 3-4 RRTs for NICU/Pediatric service lines
• Operate and manage GE R860 adult ventilators, Draeger Infant/Pediatric ventilators, Newport HT70 transport ventilator, V60 Non-invasive device, Vapotherm, and Comfort Flow high flow oxygen devices
• Utilize Cerner as the electronic medical records system
• Float to all critical care units and floors as needed
• Scrub color required: Medium Gray/Pewter
• Required certifications: RRT, BLS, ACLS, PALS
• North Carolina Respiratory License required
• NRP certification preferred
• Only Registered Respiratory Therapists (RRTs) will be considered - CRTs will not be reviewed
