Position Overview
As the Rehabilitation Manager, you will be a key leader in ensuring the provision of high-quality rehabilitative services. You will provide program knowledge, analytical leadership, and administrative guidance to the therapy team. Your responsibilities will include overseeing daily operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and mentorship. This role is a perfect blend of hands-on clinical oversight and administrative leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Program and Team Oversight: Provide administrative guidance and advice in the day-to-day management of therapy programs. Ensure the team assists participants and therapists in preparing for appointments and carries out treatment plans as delegated. You will also oversee the contract management of speech therapy as needed.
- Clinical and Administrative Duties: Regularly communicate with the Center Director and Clinical Services Director regarding strategic staffing needs and changes in procedures or policies. Conduct home visits as needed to oversee therapy services in the home, assist with equipment set-up, or provide in-person treatments.
- Compliance and Mentorship: Follow all regulatory statutes and rules for rehabilitation services. You will use your supervisory experience to mentor and develop team members, helping them grow professionally.
- Education:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Physical, Occupational, or Speech Therapy is required.
- Experience:
- A minimum of five years of demonstrated rehabilitation experience is required.
- Two years of supervisory experience with the capacity to mentor and develop team members is required.
- An additional one (1) to three (3) years of management experience is preferred.
- Knowledge:
- You must have the Physical, Occupational, or Speech Therapy knowledge and experience necessary to treat frail, elderly participants with complex needs.
