Contract | Nights | 4x12-Hour Shifts | 19:00–07:30

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Level III/IV NICU serving neonates from 23–24 weeks gestation
• Operate and monitor advanced respiratory equipment including CPAP/BiPAP, High Frequency Ventilators, Oscillators, and conventional Vents
• Administer blood and blood products; manage PICC/central lines and syringe pumps
• Attend high-risk deliveries and support neonatal surgical cases
• Perform procedures including Cardioversion/Defibrillation, Cooling/Warming Blanket therapy, and Feeding Tube management
• Float to sister campuses or alternate units (e.g., Special Care Nursery, Pediatrics/Newborn Nursery) as needed; refusal to float may result in termination of assignment

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse license; compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 3 years of NICU experience
• Must be willing to float to different campuses when needed
• Must commit to working 3 of the 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• All RTO and scheduling requests must be submitted upfront at time of submittal; post-offer RTO requests may not be granted
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible as a standard traveler (locals accepted under separate terms)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a high-acuity Level III or IV NICU environment
• Familiarity with neonatal surgical support and high-risk delivery attendance
• Comfort working in a large NICU setting with variable daily census
• Flexibility with block scheduling and multi-campus float assignments
